On the 11 of February 2011. The grade 5's went for a bike ride to McCrae for water safety. It wasn’t a very big ride but we were a bit tired but we just wanted to get started. First we got into our wet suits then into our life jackets. We got into seven groups. The first group went to surfing, the second went into surf skis, and then the third went into the police boat. The forth went into Mr. Fisher’s boat then the other 3 went into sailing. The surfing was good lots of kids stood up. With the Surf skis the kids had to go up to the flag pole then try and stand up then throw the paddle one side of the surf ski. Then jump off the other side then get the paddle and get back on the surf ski. Everyone was safe because they had a life jacket on. The next activity was Mr. Fisher’s tinny there was a surf ski with a handle on it. First we sat on the surf ski then we stood up then let go and try to stay on. Then there was the police boat that was great there was a double donut. No one fell off but some people got big waves and got whipped around. Then the last activity was sailing it was a hard but everyone thought it was fun one person tried to go by himself! Then everyone got dried and rode back to the school.
